Because X11 and SSH are TCP/IP protocol suites so they play nice
together. Wayland is an IPC protocol suite so it doesn't play nice with
TCP/IP.

Good news: waypipe exists. With it you can do things like
waypipe ssh me at othermachine wayland-program
waypipe needs to be installed on both sides.
