[Discuss] WIFI access point/router dd-wrt or other open source system

I'm very happy with my FLINT 2 routers (GL.iNet):
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CP7S3117?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

I have a pair of them with the same SSID, one working in AP mode, with both
as a wired backhaul, and they cover my whole house rather well.

The configs are managed by my friend Claude (AI) via VS Code Agent that
accesses them via SSH to the LuCI interface. Their configs are all
GitHub-maintained. I put in an issue or PR, Claude handles the change,
documentation, changelog, vuln scanning, etc., then it gets pushed to the
routers. I'm working on some sort of permanent client in the house that does
a constant monitor of the signal and alerts to issues (that eventually can
be auto-mitigated if possible.)

The hardware itself seems solid.
