<div dir="ltr"><div>I noticed there's an older Raspberry Pi v3 Desktop kit that includes an SATA daughterboard and a case to contain both the RPi and a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD. The Desktop kit for the Rpi4 does not include SATA. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Do you know if the same daughterboard for the Pi 3 will work on the Pi 4? A Pi 4 would make a nice PXE install server for our InstallFests, now that it has true gigabit ethernet, and I imagine running it off an SSD via SATA would perform much better and be more robust and reliable than running it off a microSD card.<br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Tue, Jul 23, 2019 at 2:34 PM Brian DeLacey <<a href="mailto:bdelacey@gmail.com">bdelacey@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">The August BLU meeting has been added to the RPi "World Map'!<div><br></div><div>You can find reference to the 8/21/19 August BLU meeting on the Raspberry Pi Jam Map</div><div><br></div></div><blockquote style="margin:0px 0px 0px 40px;border:medium none;padding:0px"><div dir="ltr"><div><a href="https://www.raspberrypi.org/jam/" target="_blank">https://www.raspberrypi.org/jam/</a></div></div></blockquote><div dir="ltr"><div><br></div><div>Getting it added to the RPI Jam Map is pretty cool step forward ... </div><div><br></div><div>They have this listed over two days (perhaps wishful thinking on their part!? </div><div><br></div><div>If anyone wanted to get a room the night before on 8/20 we could do some kind of Hands-on "Installfest for RPi"?
