I disagree with that.  I think both postfix and qmail are better for smtp
if you need an MTA for either personal or server support.  Qmail info is
available at www.qmail.org.  I'm not sure about postfix.  At
www.qmail.org, you'll see qmail documentation for users.  Life With Qmail
and the Qmail HOWTO v2 by Adam McKenna are good resources (in that order).
Be sure not to be an open relay.

Qmail is very secure, few suid root programs..
It's modular (a few programs doing specialized functions)
	-as opposed to one monolithic program
It has rational configuratio based upon control files
It is very reliable and fast
It allows mail to be stored in user's home boxes (or a different location)
It supports maildir, a message format requiring individual messages to be
stored as files (no corruption, reliable message i/o even over NFS)

Postfix has many ofthe same features.
