Monitors and power draw

I had to do a study once for designing a large battery backup system.  We 
used an ammeter to test a Sun 19" monitor... it drew 2.0-amps for a 
second or two, then quickly settled at 0.5-amps.  So, I don't think 
that's significant enough to throw off anyone's calculations.
