New Riders has a decent book:

    "GNU Autoconf, Automake, and Libtool"
by Vaughan, Elliston, Tromey, and Taylor

Doesn't cover Make, but it covers the other parts of setting up a
project to use "./configure ; make ; make install". I believe O'Reilly
has a decent book on Make.
