Linux friendly ISP's in Boston

I wouldn't call them "Linux friendly", but Earthlink DSL does not block
inbound port 80 (last I checked, a few months ago anyways). ..$49 for
1.5Mb/384Kbit.

I'm seriously considering a switch to Verizon DSL because of the billing
bundling. That would cut my DSL speed in half, but it's still more than
enough for interactive surfing and Return To Castle Wolfenstein games.

Using tzo.com, you can transparently get around ISP port blocking easily.
IMO port blocking is just to weed out the "i hate computers" crowd running
insecure (or already compromised) Windows servers.
