We had a computer in the classified lab at Raytheon that they wanted to
move out of the lab. We (one of us HP consultants) wrote a wipe program.
The wipe program had to pass some tests, but was acceptable, and the
computer was moved out of the classified lab. We also did a similar
thing after some jerk accidentally stored some classified data on a
public computer.
