Free wifi at the airport?

Given the demographic of users of such a service, and that you could 
subject them to a splash page of sponsor logos before the connection 
becomes active, it is probably something that could easily gain 
corporate sponsors.

But is it even possible for an outsider to implement a WiFi network 
inside a structure without the cooperation and buy-in from the building 
owner (Massport)? At best you could get a tenant here and there to 
cooperate, but you also said:

implying that the airlines would not be a cooperating party. So who's 
left? Restaurants and gift shops?
