[Discuss] Multiple submissions of resume by recruiters and hired.com

I have no experience with hired.com, but I have had cases where 2 or
more recruiters submitted the same resume. For a full-time position,
this causes a problem for the client. If the client hires the
individual, one of the other headhunters can claim they sent in the
resume first. Many times the client, just ignores the candidate. Years
ago we had a case where they received 2 resumes and the hiring manager
refused to consider anything submitted by one headhunter because of a
lot of bad blood. So, anyway you can control where your resume is sent
is important. I had a case where I went to an interview where a friend
of mine worked. Just as I was walking in a headhunter who I had been
working with walked out. I guess I might have mentioned I was having
lunch with them.
