[Discuss] fc30 keyboard issues

I wasn't suggesting an external keyboard as a permanent solution, just a 
source of more evidence.  The fact that the problem doesn't happen with 
an external keyboard means it's not the global keyboard configuration, 
and might actually be hardware.  Similarly I wasn't suggesting xbindkeys 
as a solution, but another piece that could affect the keyboard output 
if misconfigured.  I use it for a few things.

If it were me, the next thing I would try would be booting off a live 
USB for FC and for Ubuntu.  If you see the problem in both then it's 
very likely hardware.  If you see it in FC but not Ubuntu, you know it's 
software configuration defaults, like keyboard language.  If you see it 
in neither, then you know your local config is fubar somehow.
