​LTS is good.
Some folks may prefer current, so on a multiboot, that could be an option. ​
On older hardware, i've liked Lubuntu.
One of the Recovery remixes (with Windows password fixer, Gparted, backup
apps, etc.) is a good thing to have on a multiboot.
