The BCS Linux & Unix User Group meets tomorrow, Wednesday, October 18, at 7 PM. We've been moved from Bldg 66 to (once again) Building 16, Room 134. We'll be in 16/134 for October and November. We're meeting in Waltham in December, as a one-time thing, and we'll be in a larger room at M.I.T. starting in January. At tomorrow's meeting, Rodney Thayer presents our first How-To Clinic, focused this month on Majordomo, the mailing list manager. On Wednesday, November 15, Guy Bzibziak shows us what's available for Cruising the Internet with Linux. On Friday, December 8, we're hosting the "Linux/Unix Cafe" at the BCS facilities in Waltham, starting at 6 PM and running most of the evening. This is our group's first Christmas party. On Wednesday, December 13, We present one in a series of vendor presentations for the Commercial/Professional Unix community. This SPECIAL Commercial / Professional meeting will take place at the BCS Office in Waltham. -- John Abreau / Director, BCS Linux & Unix User Group / jabr at bcs.org The Boston Computer Society / 101 First Avenue / Waltham, MA 02154 Voice +1 617 290 5700 / Fax +1 617 290 5744 / http://www.bcs.org
