Does anybody know of any filters/programs I can put sound files, (x.au, x.wav) through that is any better than /usr/bin/showaudio (which just redirects the file to /dev/audio)? Sounds are really distorted and there is no way to control volume (obviously). Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, is there no Linux meeting for May? There was no listing in the BCS Journal.
