(resend) From: "Scott Stirling" <sstirling at mediaone.net> Date: Wed, 12 Jan 2000 00:52:39 -0500 SuSE - lags behihd other distros in keeping up with the latest and greatest, YAST sucks, never got much further than installing and saying "that's nice" with this one. The install's actually quite easy, and it comes with a lot of stuff. SuSE 6.3 comes with a graphical version of YaST (YaST2) in addition to the original (you can use either), and the install now apparently has a graphical option (I haven't upgraded from 6.2; I'm probably going to hold off at this point until kernel 2.4 comes out). -- Robert Krawitz <rlk at alum.mit.edu> http://www.tiac.net/users/rlk/ Tall Clubs International -- http://www.tall.org/ or 1-888-IM-TALL-2 Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- mail lpf at uunet.uu.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
