I received this from a software engineer requesting some assistance. Please respond directly to him because he is not on the list at the present time, and will not receive messages posted to the list. ------- Forwarded message follows ------- From: "Duffy, Patrick" <DuffyP at gsilumonics.com> To: "'discuss at blu.org'" <discuss at blu.org> Hello BLU, I was wondering if anyone at BLU could make some recommendations for Unix development tools - compiler, linker, debugger, integrated text editor, etc. GSI is using __very__ old versions gcc and gdb, and needs to upgrade for better productivity. Are there are consultants at BLU would could make recommendations, or be available to do onsite analysis of the situation? Best regards, Patrick Duffy Senior Software Engineer GSI Lumonics duffyp at gsilumonics.com 978-661-4598 ------- End of forwarded message ------- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Associate Director Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
