I would like to start a discussion on Windows emulators, such as WINE and Win4Lin. Win4Lin is a commercial product which appears to be both a Windows API as well as a virtual machine. http://www.trelos.com/. It is currently listed as $49.95, and fits into the region between WINE and VMWare. They seem to be targeting IT managers. I would like to hear of anyone who has used this product. I am also considering a future BLU meeting where we can explore ways for Linux users to run Windows applications. Or even better, a way to get Windows users to switch to Linux. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
