Digital video

Does anyone know anything about the webcams and other digital video toys
for PCs. Is there a line of small video cameras that can transmit via
Cat 5 cabling either via 100TX Ethernet or similar technology? I'd like
to be able to capture moderate resolutions 16 bit/320x200 minimum
resolution at 30 frames/second or better and transmit directly to a NIC
or video interface card. I'd also like to have around a 250 foot radius
to run the cable between camera and computer.

And, of course, it should be Linux compatible! If nothing else I'll use
one of my Macs but Linux is definitely preferred.
