Hello, My 5 yr old 17" monitor just blew up today (with a loud popping noise from the rear) and methinks the genie that makes it work escaped. Now there's a muted, repetitive popping sound (probably electricity arcing??) and no horisontal/vertical sync. It had a decent Trinitron tube, so I was thinking of getting it repaired. Anyone have recommendations for a good shop; I live around the Porter Square area? It probably would be cheaper to just replace it =( TIA, -- -==- Kuan Lee - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
