Mobile Ethernet

My company is willing to provide its Sys Admin team with laptops and
wireless Ethernet service. I am only familiar with CDPD technology,
which is what I have requested be ordered. To my knowledge, the average
throughput of CDPD is about 38,400? Does any reliable service provider
offer anything faster? I put in a request for Bell Atlantic Mobile's
CDPD offering. I know of AT&T's CDPD service, but I opted for BAM.

Thanks for any other leads for faster (presumably digital) service.
