KDE vs. Gnome

Yes, skip the desktop scene entirely and go with WindowMaker.  It's
fast, lightweight, incredibly configurable, and the docks are great.  I
figure everyone's gonna put in their input on their desktop/window
manager of choice, so that's mine. =)
