Hello to all: I've gotten my SS5 installed with Solaris 7 and talking on the net. My next battle is to install some basic apps, such as gcc and gzip. Problem is, cc returns the message/error "/usr/ucb/cc: language optional software package not installed" which, after some limited research, seems to be a popular problem with the compiler. Therefore, how do I get around Sun's included broken cc issue to perform successful compiles of apps? Thanks.
