I don't recall the details of that model offhand, specifically whether it has NuBus slots for adding expansion cards. If it does, your best bet is to get an old NuBus Ethernet card. I have no idea if anyone still makes these, so you may want to look for one at the MIT Flea Market or some place similar. Another option is an AppleTalk-to-Ethernet gateway. We had one of these at the BCS many years ago; it essentially sat between the LocalTalk network and the Ethernet network, and translated packets from AppleTalk to TCP/IP and back. It also translated between Unix lpr and AppleTalk printing protocols, and may have also translated NFS to AppleShare. Again, I have no idea if anyone still makes these. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix ICQ 28611923 / AIM abreauj / JABBER jabr at jabber.org / YAHOO abreauj Email jabr at blu.org / WWW http://www.blu.org - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
