Does Balsa allow you to use a POP server? If so, you could use it to manage the spool area. You might also try the mail clients that come with KDE or Gnome. But try the kmail that comes with KDE 2.x; there were bugs in its handling of attachments in the earlier version I had tried. In particular, if there was an attachment and no other message body, it would get confused. I believe it was fixed. - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
