Where: Mount Ida College, 777 Dedham St., Newton Center, Ma 02459 Great Room of the Student Center adjacent to the guard shack. There is a parking lot on your left immediately after the guard shack. There is wheelchair access. Mount Ida also runs a shuttle bus service to the Newton Center T stop. When: Saturday, May 12, 2001 9:00AM to 5:00PM Food: We are planning on ordering Pizzas from the Mount Ida Cafeteria, so I would like a headcount by May 10th so we can place the order. What you need to bring: Your computer, monitor, power strips and your Linux distribution. Cost:It's free! However, we DO have expenses, and voluntary contributions are welcome. Please consider contributing $25 per machine. We are also looking to purchase a new server for the BLU. Our volunteers will help you to install Linux on your own system. While Linux runs on most systems, some systems do have configurations and hardware that may not be supported. Please consult the following web pages for hardware compatibility.
