A friend of mine has a problem.  Does anyone here know the answer?

ok.

first i feel really silly right now. while trying to convert my ext2
partition to ext3 i used 'mke2fs' instead of 'tune2fs'. so as you can guess
the files are all gone. the next question would be: do you have any
backups? of course not silly, if i did i wouldn't be writing this right
now. so my question is this:

is there any way to get the information off the disk? the 0's and 1's
should be there. i've poked throught google, groups and all. most of the
posts are people trying to recover fat partitions after accidently
installing linux on them. i would appreciate any help in recovering the
data.
