sharp zaurus

I have a zaurus SL-5500. The rom version is 2.38. I'm
using a socketcom low power ethernet card, EA2900-117.
When i reboot it goes to where is says "init
runlevel 5" and then the screen blanks out. if i take
the card out it continues to reboot. thank you.
