I picked up one from the hsn.com special, and I got a Netgear MA701 802.11b wireless network card. I just plugged it in and it worked. If you've completely hosed the unit, you can reset it to its original factory state by opening the battery compartment and pressing the reset button with a paper clip. This will lose any data you've got on the unit (anything stored in RAM; if you've got a CF or SD card, the data on those is still safe). If it hangs when the card is in the unit, but works fine when the card isn't, then perhaps you've simply got an unsupported network card. Or maybe it's a DHCP issue; if you haven't run the Internet Wizard tool, then by default it will try to find a DHCP server to get an ip address. If you don't have a DHCP server on your network, then it would take a while before it gave up. - -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix Email jabr at blu.org / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Exmh version 2.6 02/09/2003 iQCVAwUBPon/ylV9A5rVx7XZAQKAuQP/TUtlpWfEefzQQoQodSt95MTCMRaUqzNl 71fCHOiU/Z0bTGg8NG8E0nYQnjQbZYIE0wihB4GHFvyPyCtmxGByQlOJK+lAIdZW wzEveZI1mYfzfy9Frf4bQsXA2bb6p4rDjqZDqBHxxxXxP/q+bEjhPY4+TMQRVbjQ /2g6X5lQEBA= =RTSB -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
