The World (Located in Collidge Corner with national dialup service:http://www.theworld.com) is a public access Unix system, and are the oldest ISP in the country. They charge $9.89/Mo for their cheapest service. I've found that their support people tend to be somewhat knowledgable in comparison to ISPs like Comcast who hire some type of non-human primate. I personally maintain both an account at TheWorld as well as Comcast. I've never had any trouble with Linux on Comcast. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
