Print shareing

Sure, this is the printers section in smb.conf the error message is
generated when I send a ms word doc to the printer.
[printers]
        comment = All Printers
        path = /var/spool/samba
        browseable = yes
# Set public = yes to allow user 'guest account' to print
        printable = yes

This is the message i get from the log file when trying to print from notpad

[2004/03/05 09:47:09, 1] smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(705)
  pax-industria (192.168.1.101) connect to service HP870cse initially as
user alaric (uid=500, gid=500) (pid 8880)
lpr: unable to print file: client-error-document-format-not-supported

Can you show us the relevant sections of /etc/samba/smb.conf?

Also, what were you trying to print?  Can you print from Notepad/Wordpad?
