We have a dehumidifier in our basement and a box fan to keep things circulating, and it keeps things from getting moldy. Wouldn't want to be without it. Even with the dehumidifier, the cheap hygrometer we bought at Target says we are above 60%. And I have my basement server down there. Works great. I have the dehumidifier on top of the drier with a hose dripping into a washbowl next to it. Very nice to not have to empty anything. In the summer it can fill very quickly. -kb
