Computers in Basements

Does your basement get wet when it rains?  My first job was in a
computer room that was below grade on landfill.  The Institute couldn't
figure out how to prevent water from coming into the basement for about
10 years when we moved the production stuff to an above ground
facility.  Believe me, if/when it gets wet in your machine room you'll
have lots of problems.  If it really stays dry you should be OK.
