I have a user with a Mac running Tiger, fully patched, and Office 2004, fully patched. Since installing the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, proxying through the firewall from an Office application has produced blocking at the firewall. Both Safari (default browser for Mac) and Firefox work perfectly on their own. The Proxy setting in Tiger is set properly. Things worked fine until the latest version of Firefox was installed. Mozilla worked fine, too. The web browsers, standalone, work perfectly. Anyone know of a fix/solution to permit Office 2004 applications with URLs in the document to successfully proxy through a firewall? Thanks.
