Oracle respins Red Hat (sort of)...

RedHat pissed-off Oracle, by moving into Oracle's enterprise space, with the acquisition of JBoss.  So, Oracle smacks RedHat upside the head by undercutting some of RedHat's core profit center, namely larger enterprise support contracts, specifically those that are using Oracle.

I don't think that is Oracle's goal.  I think that Oracle wants to acquire all those juicy support contracts referenced above, and that Oracle will get them.  The rest of RedHat's support space, those that don't use Oracle, is relatively safe.
