I am in the process of switching to FIOS that provides a dynamic IP address. I have used DynDNS in the past but this time I am considering using ZoneEdit to provide a stable connection to my computer. Does ZoneEdit provide acceptable service for a home network using web and mail servers but consuming minimal bandwidth and web hits? Also, I was considering using ddClient for the dynamic IP client. Is this a good choice. I remember in the past someone from BLU commented that it is possible to request the ISP to associate user domain names to assigned dynamic IP addresses. Is this possible?
