Anything in particular compelling you to do so? (I don't use Debian as a 
desktop OS, so the updates may be less compelling from a server

I'm pondering the idea of switching to Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (supported until 
2009), as a stable, non-GUI server base upon which to run a 
virtualization system. Perhaps a catch-22 here is that virtualization is 
undergoing rapid changes right now, and there may be desired features 
only made available in packages for the newer OS versions. For example 
Ubuntu 7.04 (still in beta) boasts that it includes Kernel-based Virtual 
Machine support (KVM), though my target hardware wouldn't support that 
anyway.
