SMP and dual coure CPUs

Subject: SMP and dual coure CPUs

I want to get a dual CPU motherboard, and I want it to support dual core
CPUs. In effect, have 4 cores. I'm kind of having a problem finding
motherboards that support this, or at least finding the information I need
to find one.

Anyone have any good links or even experience in this? I want to upgrade a
couple servers and my desktop.
