exceed startx command to use KDE

 Hello all, 

I am looking for the startx command on exceed. 
It works on xterm -display 
It started xterm. When I type startx from xterm, 
I got fatal error: 

Here is the error message: 
Fatal server error: 
Server is already active for display 0 
        If this server is 

Can anyone help? I want to use kdb.
