Every once in a while I look around for a new email client. I currently use claws-mail with is very good. My email format is a hierarchical directory of MH folders. This means that each folder is a Linux directory, and each message is a single file. That said, the only issues I have with claws are: 1. It does not support the sending of html emails. It will only send plain text. For the most part this is good, but there are some times where I want to send a more formatted email. 2. Search for a folder name. There are very good search methods in claws including a perl plugin, but there is no way I can search for a folder name (similar to searching Firefox bookmarks). In the past I have looked at Evolution, but converting to Evolution was a big deal because I would have had to import each folder explicitly. I also use procmail for filtering before the email gets into claws. -- -- Jerry Feldman <[hidden email]> Boston Linux and Unix PGP key id: 537C5846 PGP Key fingerprint: 3D1B 8377 A3C0 A5F2 ECBB CA3B 4607 4319 537C 5846 _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
