yum updates

Hi BLU!

I've just obsessed for about 2 hours over the setup of my yum
repositories on my fedora 10 install. What was bothering me was that I
would see e-mail notification of package updates, and then I would go
off and run 'yum update' and have it report back that no updates were
available. After the conocinal two hours of goofing around with my
system, it looks like the fedora mirror system is not all that fast and
that some sites have the updates, and others don't. In the past, my
system would update with patches before they were announced on the
fedora update mailing list. Is this slowdown something you any of the
blu fedora 10 (or any fedora) users have been experiencing? Or is
indeeded my fedora yum configuration messed up or something...

Thanks in advance.

Cheers. Steve.
