OT: I hate RCN's DVR

I second that.  I've been doing that for years.  RCN's Motorola HD boxes
have open Firewire and you can read every channel you subscribe to,
including the pay channels.  So if you subscribe to HBO you can get HBO
into the myth via firewire at full resolution!   Quite nice.
