It was a wonderful time during the coming of age for the free software movement. Unfortunately, I feel its a bit to corporate right now, especially with the bid for Novel from Elliot Associates. Here is a thought. The hedge fund has this plan. 1) Buy Novel 2) Dump everything from Novel that is not Linux. 3) Start suing everyone in sight, a la SCO. - They have paten protection from MS.
