Hello:

I use dreamhost for my website visualphysics.org, but don't do VPS.
What I like about the support is they write detailed technical wiki's,
so how to deal with situations grows.

Here is the vps service

$15/month/300MB RAM

They charge by how much RAM you need.  600MB costs $30, storage is unlimited.
