VMWare Workstation installed on a 32-bit OS will support a 64-bit guest.. AFAIK, the CPU must be 64-bit with hardware virtualization turned on in the BIOS. AFAIK, we have one Financial Engineer in the office who is running this way. He was out of the office on Monday when the question came up. I don't know about VMWare Player, but we will find out definitively today since my coworker is installing it on one of her laptops all running XP 32-bit. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix PGP key id:3BC1EB90 PGP Key fingerprint: 49E2 C52A FC5A A31F 8D66 C0AF 7CEA 30FC 3BC1 EB90
