There is a legal requirement to store financial data for a period of time. So, you need to make sure that you store the media properly. This is another reason why Iron Mountain and similar companies exist. The IT guy in NY suggested that he was going to buy a tape system for us. (I think it is a waste of money). I would prefer using a similar system to what we have now where New York is our offsite storage. I don't want to take up rack space for a tape system. One thing I could do is to backup to a cloud. Our NAS system has software to do just that.
