Let Google and Bing and whatever eventually displaces them handle search. That is, after all, the point of this exercise. Maybe add a constrained Google or Bing search box somewhere convenient on the list archives. You get their search expertise, and you don't run a database and server-side scripts which consume system resources and reduce system security, and you don't have to maintain it on a day to day basis. -- Rich P.
