[It seems like I'm on a roll of odd low level hardware/software questions recently.] I've been getting messages in the system log for several years now like the one in the subject line. A new one is typically logged every 1000-4000 seconds. The device in question is a USB multi-card reader on a desktop system. I've done some web searching to try to find some info about when that messages is generated, but have had no luck. The device seems to work fine so it has never been a pressing issue. I would just like to understand what is going on. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill Bogstad
