My interpretation of his error is different from yours. From what I see, he is a Verizon customer, and his machine connected to Verizon FIOS is unable to send email via the Verizon server. Ordinarily this sort of configuration would be bog-standard; it's what they want their customers to do. In this case, however, they've instituted some sort of ban in which his Verizon IP is no longer permitted to send email via the Verizon server. -Don
