[Discuss] attempted upgrade

in attempting to upgrade my asus laptop from fc38 to fc39 i
started through the following commends, but didn't get so
far as the reboot -- tried several times.

sudo dnf upgrade --refresh
sudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade
sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=39
sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot
sudo dnf clean packages

i did see a bunch of lines scrolling by, like these:

no match for group package .....

then:

i see the transaction test errors but don't know what to do about them.
any suggestions?
