rEFInd is a fork of rEFIt. They're UEFI programs -- why is everything
an OS? So that we can have nice things like rEFIt and rEFInd. rEFIt
originally was intended for UEFI implementations like Macintosh which
lack boot selectors but they have become more general purpose boot
selectors/managers.
